What you can do with it

Plan by date, not by list

A month view of the entries and exits you have saved, so busy weeks and quiet weeks are obvious at a glance.

Outcomes at a glance

Saved astro strategy trades are colored by their result once they close, so you can see how the trades you follow turned out.

All your symbols at once

Saved windows for every symbol share one month grid, so you do not have to switch symbols to see what is coming up.

What is coming up

A list of up to 20 upcoming entries and exits sits next to the calendar, or below it on a phone, so the next event is never more than a glance away.

How it works

  1. Step 01

Save what you want to follow

Save a seasonal window from the Seasonality Analyser or the Seasonality Screener, or bookmark a pivot window on a symbol’s Market Cycles page. On the Pro plan, strategies you save in Strategy Builder add their upcoming signal dates too.

  2. Step 02

    Open the month view

The calendar opens on the current month, with weeks starting on Monday and today highlighted in blue. Each saved window sits on its entry and exit days, and the arrows and the Today button move between months.

  3. Step 03

    Read each day

Chips in each day cell are colored by the kind of event, and hovering a chip shows its details. The Upcoming panel lists up to 20 entries and exits from today on, in date order.

  4. Step 04

Open the detail behind a date

A seasonal or Market Cycles chip opens that window in the Seasonality Analyser, and a Personal Strategy chip opens Strategy Builder. On the Watchlist page you can hide a seasonal window, or archive or delete any item, to take it off the calendar.

What you’ll see

The calendar has a month grid and an Upcoming panel, and each chip is colored by the kind of event it marks. The amber, green, red and sky blue chips belong to astro strategy trades saved from the Astro Screener, which is not available to every account.

Month grid
A Monday-first month with today highlighted in blue and the first of the month labeled with its month, for example “Sep 1”. The subtitle reads “Watchlisted trades”, with “+ Personal signals” added when you have upcoming Personal Strategy dates.
Watchlist chips (cyan bookmark)
Your saved seasonal windows, Market Cycles pivot windows and astro strategy trades, for every symbol at once, labeled with the symbol or strategy. A green arrow marks the entry day and a red arrow the exit day, and the days in between are left unmarked.
Personal Strategy chips (teal)
An upcoming signal date from a strategy you saved in Strategy Builder, labeled with the strategy name. Hovering shows the symbol, the direction and the aspect or cycle phase behind the date.
Entry chips (amber)
The start day of a saved astro strategy trade on the symbol currently selected in the app, for most strategies and symbols. It carries a short strategy label, and hovering shows the full strategy name and the entry and exit dates.
Win, Loss and Pending chips
The exit day of a saved astro strategy trade on the selected symbol, which for one-day strategies is also the entry day. Green with ✓ means a positive result, red with ✗ a negative one and sky blue with ◯ that there is no result yet.
Legend
The bar under the grid names each color. Entry, Win, Loss and Pending are always listed, and Watchlist and Personal Strategy are added once you have watchlist items or upcoming Personal Strategy dates.
Upcoming panel
Up to 20 events from today on, each with its label, an ENTRY (amber) or EXIT (sky blue) badge and its date. It sits beside the grid on wide screens and below it on phones, and a card opens the same page as its chip.
“N% win” on Upcoming cards
Appears only on saved astro strategy trades, once at least one of your saved trades of that strategy on the selected symbol has a result. It is green for higher rates, red for lower ones and grey in between.

How the numbers are calculated

The calendar runs no backtests of its own. It places the dates of what you have saved and, for saved astro strategy trades, shows the result already computed from daily price bars.

Where each date comes from

Seasonal and Market Cycles windows are saved as an entry and exit month and day, so the calendar places them on those dates in whichever year you view. A window whose exit month comes before its entry month ends in the following year, and a pivot saved without an exit date is not placed. Personal Strategy dates are the future signal dates your Strategy Builder backtest found, up to its end date, when you saved the strategy. They are not recalculated, and only dates from today on are shown.

How Win, Loss and Pending are decided

A saved astro strategy trade’s result is the price change between its entry and exit on daily bars, close to close or open to close depending on the strategy. Long strategies have a positive result when the exit price is higher, short strategies when it is lower. A positive result is a Win, a negative one a Loss, and a trade without both prices yet is Pending. The tooltip figure is that raw price difference, not a percentage, before commissions and slippage.

Planetary timing and trading days

Astro strategy events are found from sidereal planetary positions, meaning positions measured against the fixed stars, calculated with the Swiss Ephemeris. For most strategies, an event that falls on a weekend or market holiday is priced on a trading day instead.

History and refresh schedule

Astro strategy trades are regenerated over many years of history and a stretch of future dates. ES=F, the E-mini S&P 500 future, is refreshed early every weekday morning, European time. Other covered symbols, the several hundred with at least 10 years of daily history that the Seasonality Screener also covers, are refreshed once a week in a run that starts Sunday night and takes many hours. Until a symbol’s next refresh, a trade whose exit date has passed can still show as Pending.

The Upcoming list and its win percentage

Upcoming lists the entries and exits dated today or later, sorted by date and capped at 20, with seasonal and Market Cycles windows taken in the year the grid is showing. A trade that enters and exits on the same day is listed once, as an entry. The “N% win” figure is the share of your own closed, saved trades of that strategy on the selected symbol that ended with a positive result. It describes your saved trades, not the strategy’s full history.

Questions about Trade Calendar

Does the Trade Calendar show every strategy trade?

No. It shows what you have saved: seasonal windows, Market Cycles pivot windows, Personal Strategy dates from Strategy Builder and, where your account includes the Astro Screener, astro strategy trades saved from it. Built-in strategy trades you have not saved are not placed on the calendar.

What do the colors on the Trade Calendar mean?

Amber marks the entry of a saved astro strategy trade, and its exit is green with ✓ for a positive result, red with ✗ for a negative one or sky blue with ◯ while pending. Cyan bookmark chips are your watchlist items and teal chips are Personal Strategy dates, and neither carries a result.

How often is the Trade Calendar updated?

Your saved items load when you open the calendar, and reloading the page picks up anything saved in the last few minutes. Astro strategy results are recalculated early every weekday morning (European time) for ES=F and once a week for other symbols, so a recently closed trade can show Pending until then. Personal Strategy dates are fixed when you save the strategy.

Why does a seasonal window appear in every year?

A seasonal window is saved as a month and day rather than a single dated trade, so the calendar marks its entry and exit on those dates in whichever year you view. The marker shows where the historical window falls on the calendar. It says nothing about how that window turns out in any given year.

Are the wins and losses on the calendar real trades?

No. They are hypothetical results computed from daily prices with fixed strategy rules, without commissions or slippage. They describe how past trades of a strategy turned out and do not indicate future results.
